Bob founded Family Treatment Centers in 1993 to meet the service needs as a co-occurring specialist for psychiatric and addictions issues. He is a Family Systems expert and assists individuals and families in developing creative solutions to facilitate proactive change. Bob specializes in reconciliation, forensic, evaluative, diagnostic and legalistic determinations. He is an expert witness, has court room trial experience, and has testified in a number of family and criminal cases.
Bob is an active member of the community and participates on the Delta County Child Protective Team, Delta County Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition, The Delta County HB 1451 and SB-94 committees. He has been the Treatment Team Chair for Meth Free Delta County and Coordinator for the Delta County Adult Protective Team and is on the Colorado Plateau Crisis Support Team. Bob also provides ongoing supervision and training for substance abuse and mental health licensing.
Bob is also a certified school counselor and instructor and is an adjunct factuality member at Colorado Mesa University. He works as a consultant, mediator, writer and presenter. He is member of the state and national professional associations in mental health and substance abuse. Bob is a native of Colorado and was born Pueblo. He graduated with his Bachelors of Science degree in psychology from Arizona State University in 1985. He currently lives in Delta and enjoys playing golf
and fly fishing.
