Family Treatment Centers uses only evidenced based non-biased and clinically substantiated approaches in the evaluation process. These objective methods are supported through extensive clinical research and outcomes studies. FTC uses a multidisciplinary, comprehensive and collaborative evaluation process and follows proven models to assure valid and reliable results. Bob has been extensive trained in the evaluation process and incorporates a number of objective measures in his evaluative process:             
 

Evaluative Services Provided:

FTC provides forensic and legalistic evaluations that objective, impartial and fair and meets the highest evidenced based standards in the field. FTC uses a complete and comprehensive evaluative process that follows and adheres to the state and federal statutes. FTC uses legalistic evaluations that include the use of standardized objective measurements and non-biased data collection in performing the following:

 

Child and Family Investigations (CFI) Rules and Regulations    

Parental Responsibility Evaluations (PRE) Rules and Regulations 

Substance Abuse Professional Evaluations (DOT SAP) Rules and Regulations

Court Mandated MH and SA Evaluations Rules and Regulations

Disability Determinations Social Security Rules and Regulatuions 

 

Evaluative Approach:

FTC uses an evaluation process that meets the professional standards to integrate clinical findings within the legal system. Evaluations include gathering collaborative data from multiple sources, and using standardized measures that are objectivity, fair and independent. Forensic evaluations generally originate from the legal system and are referrals are generally made from the courts, attorneys, probation and parole officers and health and human services that can incude the following: Civil Litigation; Criminal Matters; and Family Courts. Forensic evaluations involve reformulating the results of clinical findings and providing information to legal personnel in a way that can be understood. As a forensic evaluator FTC understands the philosophy, rules and standards of the Colorado and federal judicial systems and is as an expert witness within the in criminal, family and municipal jurisdictions.
